Job Description

Hanover Research is seeking a Salesforce Developer to work internally and be responsible for providing support to end users and participating in and running full lifecycle application development including: requirements gathering, technical design, development, testing, and deployment.

Responsibilities: 
  • Execute Salesforce application configuration
  • Work directly with internal staff from upper management to end users to create and manage multifaceted workflows, data validations and triggers
  • Oversee and run full application life cycle, from requirements gathering, technical design, development, testing, to deployment
  • Provide ongoing support and system administration to quickly fix production issues
  • Develop and create customized dashboards as needed
  • Use Apex, VisualForce, and Lightning Components to create unique customer-based solutions
  • Build salesforce.com product extensions
  • Develop new native products on the force.com platform
  • Stay informed on new Salesforce features and functionalities and provide recommendations for process improvements
Skills & Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Salesforce developer
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer not required but preferred
  • Strong technical design skills and an ability to deliver customer-driven solutions
  • Knowledge of relational databases, data modeling, database concepts and data management 
  • Salesforce database design and security experience
  • Development experience with web technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Experience developing Salesforce classes, triggers, Visualforce components and pages, and Lightning Components
  • Ability to work independently and proactively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
