Hanover Research – Digital Engagement Intern
Hanover Research is currently looking for a Digital Engagement Intern to join our summer internship program. Our internship program allows students the opportunity to obtain valuable, applicable work experience in a fast-paced, and challenging environment.

We're looking for a motivated and organized individual who is very detail oriented. In this dynamic internship role, you’ll have the opportunity to support our Digital Products team in content and data auditing, presentations, email and web copy among others. The Digital Engagement Intern role requires strong project management skills and the ability to effectively work with others across the organization including: product managers, corporate communications, IT, sales and account management.
  • Search engine optimization research & implementation
  • Website proofing & quality assurance
  • Authoring and optimizing website content
  • Extract, analyze, and report on data from multiple sources including website usage, digital product usage, marketing analytics, and CRM databases
  • Support implementation of automated email communications for current and prospective clients through marketing automation system
  • Support data enrichment and analysis of internal databases, laying foundation for strategic insights
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Have digital communications/marketing experience or desire to learn in this area (either internship/work experience or college major)
  • CMS experience; specifically WordPress
  • Hands on basic HTML experience
  • Experience with search engine optimization best practices
  • Strong writing/editorial skills
  • Skills with Microsoft Office suite
  • Familiarity with graphic design software, like adobe creative suite is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with web analytics (such as Google Analytics, SEOmoz, Raven)
  • Data-oriented mindset; experience or coursework in marketing analytics preferred. Experience with data science, R, Python, SQL, or Tableau a plus.
  • Familiarity with email platforms (such as Constant Contact, Mail Chimp, HubSpot, Marketo) preferred
  • Work independently on project assignments

Time commitment per week
40 hours for 12 weeks (June 4th, 2018 – August 17th, 2018)
Education Requirements  
Must be a rising junior, senior, or graduate student.
